Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing okay, whether you’re in lockdown or struggling to keep away from the constant worry about Coronavirus. The inevitable has happened and Eurovision 2020 has officially been cancelled. It’s of course very sad when things we were looking forward to, things that we knew would bring great joy in a troubled time, get called off, but obviously we have to put health and wellbeing first.
On a more personal note, it’s been a rough few weeks. University has been extraordinarily difficult (land law is tough to crack) and a case of glandular fever has knocked me down for a good month. But on a more positive note, I’m better now and have started writing my reviews for the 2020 songs. What I thought I would do is release my top 41 songs with the reviews in the 41 days running up to the 16th May. Of course, these reviews are based off my first impressions of the songs, so the rankings may change later on, but we’ll start with the crucial first impressions.
